Michael Hawkins is Board Certified in DUI Defense Law as recognized by the American Bar Association. He has 33 years of legal experience and began his career as a prosecutor in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992. Mike is frequently named as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Georgia in Atlanta Magazine. His law firm, Hawkins Law Firm, is listed among the Best Law Firms in America by U.S. News & World Report. He has taught cross-examination techniques to lawyers in 16 states. He was the 2023 Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in Georgia for DUI Defense. Mike is a Fellow for the National College for DUI Defense, and served as Dean of the College from 2017-18.
